Welcome to NeuroVisual Specialists of Florida and iSee VisionCare

Do you suffer from Migraines/headaches, dizziness, anxiety (especially in large open spaces like the mall), panic attacks (especially while driving), neck pain, motion sickness, clumsiness, difficulty with reading and focusing, nausea, light sensitivity, blurred/shadowed/double vision, words jumping on a page?

Have you been to numerous doctors (ENT, Neurologist, Cardiologist, Primary Care, etc) only to be told that there is nothing wrong with you?

Have you been put on many medications and nothing seems to work?

I bet you never thought your eyes could be the cause of all your suffering!

When you have a binocular vision disorder (BVD) and vertical heterophoria, the muscles surrounding your eyes are not perfectly in alignment.  There are six muscles that surround each eye and that control the movements of the eyes. Those muscles need to be perfectly aligned to see clear, single and in focus.  When the muscles are misaligned the brain works very hard to try and keep them stable. Symptoms of BVD occur when the body struggles to realign the muscles.

Chronic Headaches? Dizziness? Anxiety? We Can Help

Did you know that even a slight misalignment of the eye muscles can cause any of the symptoms mentioned above?

Did you know that this type of eye misalignment is not screened for or picked up on a routine eye exam by an Optometrist or Ophthalmologist?

If you’ve been dealing with debilitating symptoms like dizziness and headaches, difficulty with reading or unsteadiness with walking and poor balance, it’s time to reclaim your life! At NeuroVisual Specialists of Florida and iSee VisionCare, you’ll be in good hands. Dr. Sonneberg is one of only eight certified neurovisual optometrists in the country. Many of our patients travel great lengths to be treated by Dr. Sonneberg.

Dr. Sonneberg will conduct a binocular vision dysfunction evaluation that examines the six muscles that surround each eye. Misalignment of these muscles — whether hereditary/genetic or caused by a concussion or traumatic brain injury (TBI) — results in a misalignment between the eyes that can lead to many painful side effects. Using the Feinberg method, Dr. Sonneberg can prescribe aligning prismatic lenses to correct the misalignment and drastically improve a patient’s quality of life.

Improve Your Vision and Your Quality of Life

If these symptoms sound all-too-familiar, it’s time to get the help you need. Take the test to see if you are a good candidate for this type of evaluation.  The team at Florida’s only neurovisual optometry practice is looking forward to helping you. Testimonials

My experience here was very positive. The staff is all very friendly and accommodating. Dr. Sonneberg's exam was thorough. This was my first visit and she took the time to learn in detail about my vision history and specific vision problem. She made an excellent recommendation as far as further treatment I may require. I felt no pressure to spend any more than I'd planned and no service or product was "pushed" on me as a prior writer complained. I have no problem recommending this office to anyone.

Lovely staff, excellent customer service, and great price. I was given much more attention then I would expect just to get a pair of replacement lenses for my Ray-Ban sunglasses. They helped me choose the best lenses, and the glasses came out even better than the original ones. Highly recommended, and the next time I need eye exams I will also come to have it done here.

Mariana S.Patient

Dr. Sonneberg is an excellent and caring doctor who truly cares about her patients. She explained my diagnosis and treatment to me very carefully and patiently.
