In my previous blog post discussing what makes iSee VisionCare unique from other optometry practices, I addressed the general, high level of care that I am committed to providing to each patient that comes through my door. I’m also proud to offer an eye exam like no other.
Please allow me to explain how an examination of your eyes will be conducted at iSee VisionCare. I will perform a two-part comprehensive eye exam on each patient. The first part of the exam will include a very thorough refraction that is designed to find the ideal glasses or contact lens prescription for your eyes. The second part of the exam will focus on the health your eyes. I will examine your eyes for glaucoma, cataracts, macular degeneration, diabetes, signs of cholesterol or high blood pressure and many other medical conditions. Most people are not aware that a variety of medical conditions, even those not typically associated with the eyes, can be diagnosed as a result of a thorough eye exam – we’ll discuss details in another blog post.
Each of my patients will also have a detailed photo taken of the back of the eye (known as a “retinal photo”) that will aid in detection of possible disease. We will provide you with a copy of this photo to take home with you (it might be a cool conversation piece when you have a picture of your retina hanging on your refrigerator).
Please come in and let us show you the difference between iSee VisionCare and all other optometry practices. I promise you won’t be disappointed.
We will continue to apprise you of the many other things that make iSee VisionCare a unique optometry practice.
